What does "Tier 1" Positive Behavior Support (PBS) look like at Shue?
At Shue Medill Middle School, more than 90% of students already practice "Tier 1" strategies. Most students possess self-discipline, most follow school rules and many help their peers and teachers!
The Shue PBS "Tier 1" team seeks ways to:
Involve all students, parents and community members in recognizing positive behavior, both in and out of school.
Promote student leadership through collaboration and modeling, both in and out of school.
Grow the number of students in "Tier 1" by recognizing that all students are valuable to our community.
